Murat has twenty years of experience at both publicly traded & sponsor backed global organizations in branded consumer goods and technology products.
Prior to joining FIMC, Murat served as Chief Financial Officer of SteelSeries, a sponsor-backed global consumer technology business. Earlier, he served as the CFO of Grohe Americas, a leading premium sanitary fittings provider, where he successfully increased profitability; drove operational improvements and helped build out the organization. He also worked as divisional CFO of Grohe AG based in Germany.
Prior to Grohe, Murat held various financial and strategic positions at Diageo, a leading premium beverage business. He served as Global Director of White Spirits Category with over $1 billion in sales and as Finance Director of major markets in USA and Europe, with over $200 million in sales. He started his career in banking where he helped execute $10 billion in M&A transactions for clients globally.
Murat holds an MBA in Private Equity & Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; and BSBA, cum laude, in Finance & International Business from Georgetown University.
